Beautiful Birth Doula Package $1200

We begin our journey together with a free consultation. My goal is to hear your hopes, dreams & desires for your birth experience and to hear about any questions or apprehensions you may have. I always share some resources on birth that will benefit you and your spouse. Then, if you reserve me for your due date, we begin our journey together. I view us as a birth team. Your husband knows you best, I know birth. I walk with you both along the pregnancy journey, providing resources, videos and answering questions especially around your monthly appointments. I offer an in-depth, full prenatal meeting near 32 weeks. This time together will prepare both you and your husband or birth partner for labor, with exercises, labor positions, comfort measures, as well as a birth plan. With education on how to know if you are in labor? When to go to the Birth Center or Hospital or if you are having a homebirth when to call your birth team. We will prepare for the birth experience you envision.

At 38 weeks I am "on-call" and available 24-7 for you. I will join you once your labor is "active" and stay with you until the birth. I also capture your birth story along the way with photos, I love capturing your experience. After baby is born, I will usually stay for an hour helping with initial attachment and breastfeeding. Then, I will visit after your birth usually within the first week to check on breastfeeding and for us all to debrief your entire experience.

Breastfeeding coaching

I am a certified Lamaze breastfeeding counselor. I give you resources to prepare for your breastfeeding journey. I also help with initial breasfeeding within the first hour after the birth. After your birth, I come and visit within those first few days and offer some help with breastfeeding at this post-natal appointment along with a special time to debrief your birth experience.

Sometimes life hits us with unexpected health journeys. Two years ago a family member ended up in the hospital. I visited this loved one and put into practice so many of the principles I've learned as a doula. I brought little touches for her room to enhance the atmosphere: a soft fleece blanket, cozy socks, a small christmas tree (yes, it was Christmas time ;) and other basic things to give her joy in her room. From encouraging her to shower, to helping her take small walks, to doing her nails, or taking notes from doctor visits. The impact of having someone who cared in what can be a lonely and scary time, drastically impacted her recovery. This package has a few variations from the Birth Doula Package. Your free consultation can be in person or virtual. Availability via text, email, + phone from hire through 2 weeks post-partum (similar to the Birth Doula Package).
