I offer a free in person consutlation to any and all prospective clients. I love talking all things birth and pregnancy. I love sharing resources whether you decide to use my services or not because my passion is that every woman has a birth she can look back on with joy and peace. I would love to grab coffee with you and your husband and share about what a doula is and how having a doula benefits your pregnancy and birth.

Beautiful Birth Doula Package...

Prenatal

I am in connection with you throughout your pregnancy sharing some helpful resources along the way for each birth month. I offer an in-depth, full prenatal meeting around 32 weeks. This time together will cover questions, stages of labor review, I will show your husband some comfort measures and ways he can help during labor, we will work through some spinning babies positions for labor and exercises for labor preparation. I help you understand baby positioning and how that impacts our births. We will go over your birth plan and all things unique to you and your hopes for birth.

If it is your first birth, I highly recommend a childbirth education class. One of my favorites is Mama natural online course. I began recommending this course about 6 years ago after the husband of the couple I worked with was incredibly hands on, and inuitive in helping his wife. Since then, I have seen the same outcome with every husband that takes this course! Can't recommend it enough! One course lays the foundation and prepares you for many beautiful birth experiences to come.

Labor

I am on call for your birth starting at 38 weeks. I often provide early labor support, offering reminders and comfort via phone or text. When labor becomes active and steadily picks up, we find the right time for me to arrive. I offer support and continual, comforting techniques for labor and birth, working to maintain a peaceful birth environment. I stay until after baby is born, ensuring immediate postpartum support and help with baby’s first feeding. I also provide labor and birth photos. (You can see some of my photos here.)

Fees

Your investment is $1200. Payment schedule: $600 is paid as a deposit upon agreement. The remaining $600 is due by 36 weeks and this can be paid in multiple payments. Additional fees may be necessary if outside of my range of Bloomington-Normal.

Whenever and however you intend to give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body and your spirit for the rest of your life.
